Hi Guys,

I'll be wanting to attend Southern Mini Days later this year (August) but want to take my Cooper SPi.

The thing is I'm not insured on it and am looking to get insured for the week/weekend (I'll be 19 by then) but nearly all of the insurers I've checked online say I have to be over 21.

Do you know of any who will insure a 19 year old (Passed last October, 0 No Claims & Standard SPi Cooper) for that long?

NFU insured me on a 3.2 TDI Nissan Patrol for a week when I had to drive down to be on TopGear! Cost me £19.

How old were you at the time (if you dont mind me asking)?

I was 19 mate, went in november.

Although, I have an insurance policy with them for the mini, a business policy for my business and some other stuff.

I tried going online but their online form stated I had to be over 21 - could try giving them a bell.

If you've already insured on a car then ring that insurer and tell them that you need a week insurance on another motor, when my girlfriend brought her mini we phoned them and got a week for £18.
