how do you all fit a windscreen properly? i have tried with the string technique with soapy water but as soon as i get to the third corner the first corner pops out or the rubber pulls through. is there a trick?

For the front and back screen I don't use string, works fine on side windows though
Fit seal to window frame. Apply plenty of lube
Fit bottom edge of screen into seal then go round and peel the rubber over the glass, I just use a flat blade screwdriver and take my time.
Filler strip you are best with the proper fitting tool. Slide strip through hole in tool. Push start of strip into seal groove then with the tool leaning backwards push foreward along the groove the filler strip will go in the groove as the tool opens it. Doesn't hurt to have a mate pushing on the filler strip to make sure it goes in.
Actually should be fitting one tonight so I'll try get some pictures.
