Funny thing happened to me tonight, as I drove my Mini locally to do a job on a customers computer... Betty, as my daughter calls my car,had been spotted by a guy, who's name I forgot to ask, and tracked down, apparently as it was new on the local scene (these are getting rare) one hour later a knock at the door of the house I was at repairing someones sick PC, and I was handed a flyer... with www.the miniforum.co.uk ... so here I am to introduce myself.
Please the guy who I was chatting to in the street, please get back in touch...It's nice to see, that after the proposed takeover of that BMW thing, that the Classic is still going strong.

This is my mini, sorry the pic isn't too good, I have to take some new ones !!
Bought 2 months ago as a lowly City E
she's had 13x7 Ultralight Extremes, shod with Dunlop 195 rubber
Group 4 arches (I think) loads of chrome, including bumpers, grille, mirrors, monza cap etc.
I ripped out the grey city interior, put in black carpets, cream corbeau classic seats, a walnut dash from a late cooper, 3 clock dash from a 1275gt, alloy door furniture, walnut wheel etc
The engines a pretty standard 998, with a K&N cone filter, uprated adjustable tie rods at the front.
I have just got her back from a complete front end rebuild, which included doors, scuttle panel, inner scuttle, inner wing,2 new wings, bonnet and front panel and a respray.
I've just fitted the mandatory cd player, with 16x9's sunk into a panel to the front of the rear seats.
Loads more work to do yet though, but I'm hoping to give my wallet a rest...
New year ... new bigger engine, new ball joints, shocks and hi lo's
