Hi All,

I have tried sucking (with the rubber suction thing) the creases out of my roof on my 1989 City E to no avail.
Just wondered if anyone had any advice/tips ?

Appreciate all replies ;))

thanks

Ian

Try from the inside or, if they are very small, just fill and paint.

pss. I'd get this thread moved to Bodywork and paint

Have a look under the Thread" Annoying dent" on the Bodywork Paint and detailing section 2nd page. If its a crease has the car been in a smash as creases are not good things, this tends to show things are not right with the shell if its on the roof i'm afraid

Damn!! need to type faster, must start using my fingers instead of my knuckles ;)

they will never fill right. we spent days doing a roof and it still had ripples. you can get them acceptable though.

Depending on where the dent is there is always the sunroof option, cheating i know but if its a decent one then it won't look too bad. We have one fitted to Erm (not by us) but its cack so will be changing it. A roof reskin is a tad too expensive.
