What bit you having a problem with?
If it's spinning put a jack under it and jack it up a bit, (the track rod end), to get the nut off.

Nut off, split the joint with a ball joint splitter with either the BFH type or the bolt-lever one. Loosen off the lock nut with a spanner, then wind off the rod end.
Where are you stuck?
I wish people would explain themselves a little better on here sometimes. My mini is broke, help!

If its the ball joint your struggleing with and it wont come off with a BFH and you havent got a ball joint spliter use abit of heat. I used a mini chefs blowtorch at weekend as thats all we had and that worked. I just heated it till it was smokeing abit and taped it with a lump hammer and it popped out.
Just to add im not rough because i use heat, you just have to be carefull with it and only use it as a last resort.

So the threads on the track rod are sized in to the track rod end ? have you cracked the lock nut off?
If so try mole grips on the track rod and lots of penatrent spray on the threads in the track rod end then try winding the track rod end off the rod.
Rember to count the turns off so its close to origonal geomatry when you wind the new one on.
Use wire brush to clean the threads up and lots of copper grease in the new track rod ends threads and on the rods threads.
If you havent got copper grease use normal grease.
Lock the track rod end to the track rod with the locking nut when you are sure its in the same position as the old one.
It still makes sence to track the car up afterwards as the counting the turns off tenique isnt verry presice
