a major service but what i'd do (i do this every year except P+C as mine is electronic ignition and i dont do air as i have a K+N)
unipart are good for mini bits

grease gun for the For The 8 suspension greasing points, front ball joints, top arm and rear radius arms, not greasing them regularly will result in having to change the ball joints and/or rear arm bearings and shaft more often than normal.
spark plugs
Points
condenser
Timing light for readjusting the timing after swapping the points and condenser.
Feeler gages for setting the point’s gap and for setting the tappet/valve clearances.
A rocker cover gasket if the old one is crusty, for when removing/refitting the rocker cover to adjust the above.

aparently comma 20w50 and halfords classic 20w50, are good oils to use
I believe they are the same.

Alternatively if the dizzy cap is held in place with 2 crosshead screws, then you’ve got an electronic dizzy (no points) so just require a new rotor arm and cap for those.
