Front Hub Top & Bottom Ball Joint Nut Sizes

Hi,

Whats the size of the top and bottom nuts on the front hub ball joints?

It's 1.5" AF

ideally you want the correct deep socket

nah, i dont mean the castle nut.

i mean the ball joint nuts on the top and bottom of the hub that connects the hub onto the top & bottom arm. I was the UNC size

1.5 inch is correct. Same as flywheel bolt. The castellated nut is 1+5/16 inch.

1" 1/2. just been doing mine tonight......had to shoot off to halfords for it £11.99!!!!! Desperate times= desperate measures!

Sorry, if you mean the plain nuts rather than the domed ones, they are 11/16 inch - on my car anyway. Same as wheel nuts.

Some now appear to be 17mm AF :)

I have seen 3/4" AF

But mostly 11/16" AF
