Decided against the original plan of a supercharger and have decided I will strip my 1380 and rebuild it with a t3 setup. I'm on my way parts wise, I have bought a t3 on exhaust manifold with actuator and sold my f/g clubby front which conveniently sold for £101 which went towards a new turbo cylinder head from minispeed which was £102. Anyway, I was wondering which intercoolers I should be looking at, I know a fair few of you use the fiesta rs turbo one. Any reason why this one in particular? I'm hoping for 160 bhp plus as a final result so which intercooler is suited?

While I'm at it, do you think a cr of 9:1 with this intercooler would be low enough? Want to run at about 15-18psi as it will be a drag/track car.

Fiesta intercooler would 'just' about be ok, but running high boost will make it less efficient.

run megajolt you will get a intercooler behind the grill then,
you can then get a much more efficent alloy intercooler as well as being able to finely tune your ignition, as i type i am waiting for my megajolt to be delievered it was in transit and 6am this morning!

I personally wouldn't run 18psi on a 9-1 compression ratio, not on standard pump fuel anyway.
