Hi everyone,

I'm new to the site and I could really do with some info

My head gasket went this weekend and I was going to change it myself, but I thought I would be best to get the head skimmed and tested to make sure there are no cracks etc, but while the head is off, get it converted to unleaded. Does anyone know of a reputable company that can do this in the North Wales/Chester area?

If its of any interest it is a MG metro turbo engine (minus the turbo) bored out to 1340cc. Any info would be appreciated.

No need for unleaded - just check it over yourself, grind in the valves and bang it back on. Make sure the block top is spotlessly clean.
