No chance. Some 20 years ago you went to the tyre dealer with your DeNouses and they sold you 5 new 12" wheels and tyres for £100 so Dunlop didn't need to make them anymore.

Simple answer to that, no. Rubber perishes, I certainly wouldn't trust 20 year old tyres whether used on a road or not! Can you not just use some normal tyres on the original rims? Dan

yes standard 12" tyres will fit but i'm trying to put it back as it left the show room for concours, we had the same problem finding tyres for a 1961 mini, took a year to find them!!

good luck with this i tryed finding some for a 1975 1275gt with no luck, i found a brand new set but would never of used them as the rubber was so badly shot. went to 12" in the end as it was safer.

The things were that bad, nobody wanted them. If you want to pay the postage, I will give you a set of hub caps for Denouses.

Denouse story. When they came out in the early 70s, Brian Culcheth was entered in the RAC in a Marina and was to use Denouses as the car was sponsored by Dunlop. During testing, the car was 1 second a mile slower when they deflated the tyres!
