I got some Seat pivot brackets for my cobra classic seats but i had no bolts to screw into crossmember. So i got one of my mates and bought some similar from B&Q but now they are just slipping out and the seat is just rocking everywhere. Can someone direct me to a link where i can buy them from or tell me which bolts i need to be looking for? Thanks

You need 1/4" UNF - you will only get metric from B&Q.
Try a specialist bolt supplier in your area, or a mini specialist may have them.
Mart.

Martin, would it be possible to use clevis pins and R clips as seat fixings? I'm thinking they would hinge nicely and act as a sort of 'quick release'. What do you think?

Just through the seat bracket and seat legs, they would work well, the major issue with seat brackets is that the lower quality seat brackets use none locking M6 nuts and bolts, which simply work loose..... fall out and get lost ;)

Our kit uses 1/4"unf nyloc nuts with good quality bolts, however from an ease of fit and removal point of view clevis pins and R clips would be a great idea :D but may add a little noise to the rest of the noises within the Mini ;)

Would've thought the weight of a person in the seat would be enough to suppress the noise? But yes maybe an unladen passenger seat would rattle... I quite fancy quick fit seats though ;)
