Problem: Trying to find out the size of the countersunk door bolts (that hold doors to hinges) and source replacements

Hi there,

Have taken the doors off my Mini as part of its full strip down to shell restoration. The countersunk bolts/screws that hold the doors onto the hinges are pretty worn out so looking to replace these. Can't seem to find replacements on any of the major mini online dealers.

1. Can anyone clarify the size/thread? They appear to be 1/4NF28 but please correct me if I am wrong.

2. Also anyone know where to get some replacements?

3. Preferably would be looking for some countersunk allen key head replacements over the standard philips screw head

I got mine from MOSS. (Not socket ones though) I'm sure the others will do them. Somerfords site usually gives bolt sizes on the descriptions
