hi everyone, noticed something on my mini thirty today, the drivers door doesnt seem to fit as well as i think it should.

it seems to be tight on the window frame at the rear of the door and tight above the top hinge.

is it the door out of shape or could this be a result of accident damage?

and what could be done to rectify it??

It does look a little odd, but then again mini doors were never perfect from the factory.

And I’m guessing that door hasn’t been re-skinned and is the original to the car?

To "adjust" the door in the frame use some thin metal shims. These were used at the factory so in some instances where the gap is too large remove the door and take a few shims out

These will do the trick

as for spacing it im not sure how i could as i cant move it back or forwards on the top hinge....although looking at the first picture i could pack the bottom one out so that might help me cheers guys
