Model:Rover Mini Sprite Carb
Year:1993
Today I fitted my 3 clock setup, after fitting them obviously the first thing was to start the car and check they worked.. But the idle was really rough (enough that it stalled after about 30 seconds) I trial fitted the clocks yesterday with no issues.. It feels very much like its being starved of either fuel or air.. Currently for aslong as it runs, its idling on the very first little line on the standard 3 clock tacho, so not 0 but not 1,000..
But just before I fitted the clocks I filled up with petrol too..
So my assumption is either the clocks have some how managed to *melon* about with something or the petrol is bad? Sounding about right?
On pulling away its more juddery than normal aswell..
Thanks

Well it seemed to be okay last night, but it was warmed up and had been driven for about an hour and a half..
But if it does it again i'll try it!

Not sure about this one!! but make sure the rev counter wire (white/black) is connected to -ve side of the coil. dont know if this will cure your problem but its worth checking.
