Hi
I am changing my 1960 mini over to twin leading shoes on the front.
Also, I am using a Mk2 steering rack, and am using Mk2 steering arms as these are required for the Mk2 rack.

Anyway, when positioning the steering arm on the hub, it fouls the upper brake adjuster.

The steering arm is a Mk2 Cooper S steering arm. Is this the wrong one? I am thinking that this is suitable for a car only with discs.

If I am correct, should a standard Mk2 steering arm fit if it has a different shape that will clear the adjuster?

I have double checked, and definitely have the LH and RH backplates on the correct side of the car!

Photo atttached.

I will order the steering arms as soon as I know!

Thanks
John
