Where can I buy these arches. I can't find anyone in Australia who has them. They are very similar to what is often referred to as W&P replica or Monte Carlo arches, however the rears don't stop at the horizontal seam/bumper line, they keep going under the rear beaver (see first picture).

excuse the poor quality pictures (taken from May MiniWorld Mag)

I have emailed guys in the UK (Minispares, Minisport, MiniSpeed & Huddersfield etc), MiniSpeed have replied to say that you can no longer get the 2.5" W&P replica arches & ABS Motorsport said they stopped making them 8 years ago.

well they either like messing you about or like people buying out of stock items as they still have them listed on their website.

anyway i'd be interested to know what those arches are to as i was going to fit w&p standard arches until i saw this in miniworld, but i still ain't found out what they are :D

Ahhh-ha! They are the arches I have been looking for too. Wood and Pickett style that flow round and under the rear valance.

Closest I have found so far are the Mini Special Arches from Mini Spares

http://minispares.co...a...7722&title=

These flow under the rear valance and have no visible screws.

through sheer coincidence i think i have just bought a set of these.

they look very similar and wrap down under the bumper like these do.

i just bought them of ebay and wernt advertised as them, but when they arrived thats exactly what they look like.

ill put some pictures when they are all good and painted.

Mine came from midland wheel supplies and were called "W+P Deluxe style arches". I can't find them on their website anymore though, but might be worth a call.

yeah they were cheap but actually they do need a bit of work, ive just spent about and hour filling and sanding just one of them to see what it looks like. i think all the effort will be worth it in the end tho. plus it will give me practice and experience because the last time i attempted filling something, the results were truly horrendous.

no bad.

how are yours affixed. on my atm are some chrome ones that look like they have a plastic inner which is glue/pop rivited to the body, and the chrome screws onto that.
is that how you have done yours or are yours glued on.
