What Size Are The Nuts Which Attatch The Bonnet?

Also a general question how do you measure nuts and thread sizes etc?

using a metric spanner you can use 11mm.

but obviously the nuts wont be metric so u cant replace it with a 11mm nut.

i dont know how u measure thread, sorry.

mine arent that, but then again i only have 3 nuts and one of those isnt original.

11mm isn't the thread size its the spanner size. And it'll actually be 7/16 AF because they are imperial.

ha ha read it again, he's dropped a nut, so he needs a replacement.

replacement nuts are measured by the threadsize not the spanner that fits them.

unless its a whitworth nut (not in this case) bit Whitworth threads are to be found on the Classic Mini >_<
