after a near accident today i ask the question should women be allowed to drive. haha. just a bit of fun really. just wondering if anyone is having the same experience as me, that as soon as a bit of frost comes there are lots more accidents than there should really be. i say two today in 5 minutes. unbelievable!!!!

Good drivers know a bit (at least) about how the car works, and have more interest in their vehicle.
Bad drivers don't.

Statistical fact that women don't tend to know as much about their cars as men; there are some great women drivers who are car enthusiasts but there are some pretty awful male drivers out there who just aren't interested in the car, other than its role as a status symbol!

In a place like this though, the statistics would be VERY different I'd imagine! :cheese:

Hope that made sense :fear:

Old people.

Miniliz makes a good point by the way, but i still think people should re-take tests at retirement, and im not just complaining about slow old people, they just don't react to things, i follow some doing 30 - 45 on fast country lanes with a queue of traffic behind them (usually me included) but when they hit the town and drive past the school they're still doing 40 ish. GRRR annoys me!
