Do you get the same sound in a classic Mini with the MINI supecharger fitted?

I have heard one classic mini with the BMW supercharger that made that sound it was amazing to hear. But the exhaust was also a bit loud and it overpowered it and dome point, search on youtube, it is a red mini cooper s look alike. I have seen a post by someone that said they do not have the amazing whine that the supercharger normally produces. So I think it could be a bit of hit and miss, but i'm not speaking from any experience here at all.
I really want to do this to a mini when I buy one, as I think this is one of the most amazing sounds.
I could watch this video all day.

I would say the top video is running a 17% pulley, the bottom video is running a 15% pulley....
