All of a sudden you dont seem to be able to post pictures on a classified add

In fact the other day i couldnt even post a classified

In the end i gave up and posted it in Mini Chat like most used to do but told mods they could move it if they wished?

Theres an old saying "if its not broke dont fix it" i dont know why the classfied section ever came about?

if you used to say you were selling soming in mini chat youd get more responces and if you wanted to ammend your own add you could do it yourself as opposed having to contact a mod to do it for you

Ad the only two mods that can do it are never around

Now with this classified section its unreliable and your post is several pages out of sight before you know it,i believe sellers would have more sucess the way things used to be

I had a look at the classified section yesterday and there were no photo's against anything which i found strange. This is the first time i have been back to the classified section after the Forums problems a little while ago.

None of my settings have changed so not sure what gives???

All to do with server downtime. There are still issues, we can't post pictures in ads. They must be uploaded to an external hosting site such as photobucket or imageshack, and the link included in the ad.

There have been a number of threads regarding classifieds and photo uploading problems recently. This is all for the same reason.

Is there any way the old classifieds pages can be reactivated in this time? it was always so much better anyway, I've never quite got why the newer system was put in place :S

As an attempt to offer a little more security to buyers and sellers - due to a sudden increase in the amount of people on the forum scamming other users, stealing money, mis-selling items - selling the items multiple time to different users and taking payments.
Also to stop people bumping their threads all the time to the top of the list pushing others to the back -

Don't forget you can link to your classified ads/profile in your signature and the search function within the section works too.
