hi everyone ive been looking everywhere for an italtian job style roll cage but can't find 1! now im a welder and fabricater by trade and would have a go at making my own but can't find any dimensions for any type of cage for a mini does anybody know where i can down load any drawings for 1 ?

Just buy a load of cheap pvc tube to the diameter you want and experiment

you might be onto somthin there as it goes thinking about it but if i could get the codes it would save a lot of time and money ive looked everywhere ! and no joy

If you do make your own, I am sure that you are aware of the need to use seamless steel tubing 
For anyone who doesn't know ERW (Electrically Resistance Welded) if placed under load and suddenly tear open and turn in to a very sharp scythe
Obviously the load would have to be quite high like a roll or a serious crash......

you can buy the italian job cages, theyre under 200 i believe. ill find the site when im home from work later for you

try the bay of e mate.there was a 3 point rear cage with a buy it now of 40.might still be on there

scott - we have 2 roll cages coming to us in the next couple of weeks - once theyve arrived you can come take some measurements at the unit in Coventry
