ok i seem to have lost the screw that gose into the dowel for the cam ...this is the kit

any one had any luck fitting one of these..also withthe dowel how dose just screwing a small bolt into the head of the dowel hold it in place...or im i missing something here...

The screw is to remove the dowl, not hold it in place.
The dowl is held in place by the washer behind the nut on the cam.

sorry i bought the kit from ebay and one i think i have lost or didnt have the screw...have look everywhere on met for info on kit but nothing...will take some photos and put on here later..i have fitted most of kit had to remove old chain as you could see from some of my earlier posts...

Like said,the screw is only used to assist in removal by giving you something to get hold of,have a look through some bolts and you might find one to fit,or use a decent magnet.

could i hold it in place with a bit of gasket sealent ..then use the screw when i find one to pull it out..

found the washer..was still indoors under the desk ..blooo===ody little finger(5 year old) cant leave any thing alone..
