Like the new Classifieds section but would it be possible to make it a requirement that the seller posts some pictures in the advert. Its a pain sending a PM to request pictures, and nothing worse that viewing a for sale post with no pictures!

...It is indeed!
...most of us know how to put pictures on and EVERYONE always says "never buy blind"
...I never buy anything off ebay without there being a picture in the listing...
so I'll second this request
thanks

I agree aswell, to be honest there are so many things I am pottentially intersetd in I juyst can't be bothered to PM for pictures so there is a lot of trade on here that is lost because I just simply don't want the hassle, and I'm sure i'm not the only one.
I think Admin are having problems but THEY HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS FOR MONTHS now and it really is annoying. Admin if this is not your fault i appologise and if that is the case then can you please make it compulsory to place adds with adverts (Wanted adds excluded of course), if there actually is a "TECHNICAL" problem then can you please give us an update of what is happening with regards this situation and when exactly will it be fixed?

As it says on the main Classifieds page, there is a problem that means uploading images is not possible. Although a photobucket link or embedded image will work (but only in the body of the advert, not as a thumbnail), you can't criticise the sellers too much for not providing pictures - frustrating as it is
I'm sure the TMF Admin are all too aware of the problem and are working to a resolution as fast as their voluntary time allows.

Maybe it should be changed so its just a normal forum style like the traders section as it is easy enough to place pictures in there? I hadnt realised it was an ongoing issue, as I had never advertised a car for sale I didnt bother to read any notices just dived straight into the ads as i guess many people do.

I understand the problems admins have - I used to be an admin for Sony UK and it was a right pain.
Photobucket uploads do the same job. I know some of you are annoyed its taking a while, but i'm sure it'll all be sorted soon!

its not the admins fault, its something to do with the server or host or something, shifty had left a message in one of the other threads about it a day or two ago!

Yup, this is all fallout from the server crash we had a while ago. Our computer boffins are working on, and we do ask you to bear with us.
I know its a bit of a pain but, all will be resolved soon
