Mk1 Mini 1275 (pre A Plus)
1962
I have a choice of remote gearboxes to have reconditioned, which one would be the best choice for a car destined for stage rallying, as its going to be run in the historic class I don't think I have the option of running with the rod change box.

Is there a benefit in using the straight cut gearkits or are the existing gears up to the job. The engine will not be too powerful as I like to run with reliability and driveability and to get this I will keep the engine spec sensible.

The serial numbers on the boxes I have available are
22G846
22G1832
22G1128

Alternatively is there a better box I should be looking for?
Thanks folks
