How have you wired it? Taking the input from the RCA outputs on the back of the head unit?

The Mono amps and subs are pretty good to be fair.

Ive seen 140db cracked with a single 12 Fusion and Amplifier.

750watt rms into a 500rms max rated sub daily.

Now back to the topic, id say security of your connections. Trace them back and have a ganders.

i dont think youll find a better earth than the battery itself, yet iv earthed my equipment onto the rear bulkhead and it works fine. as stevee suggested, its cheap stuff, but for 20 quid youve picked up a bargain, it may be worth checking the wiring inside the unit itself if youre confident all your wiring is up to scratch, you may find theres a shorting/loose connection inside it

I find fusion speaker's good, but the amps unreliable.

Mate of mine went through three of the 300w mono amps from the box set before he found one that worked. Hellfrauds replaced them under warrenty but I was still less than impressed. Like you it'd run for a bit then the protect kicked in. Nothing I tried worked, including wiring it into a mates spl car with stupidly large wiring lol.

check the connections and if it doesn't work then get it replaced.
