The mini needs new bumpers because the standards are rusted to hell inside. I see places selling Stainless bumpers, non-genuine for £21, or genuine Rover for £40. Are the non-genuine ones good? Or will I be buying a cheap fixer upper?

I've been out and bought non genuine bumpers many times in the past and every time I've taken them straight back. I won't be doing it again. In my experience non-genuine bumpers (particularly Hadrian ones) never even fit on the car.

or you can do what I did on this years riv-run....

Wait by the bins after someone's just dumped their original ones, because they've just sheared off the bolts to fit their nasty cheapo stainless ones
