Should be fine, obviously I cant garuntee anything because i bought my arches second hand so iv no idea if they are copies or genuine but my arches come out so they just cover the tread on the tyre.

Right, they've arrived 
Just reading through the instructions, and it seems i have to fix them to the wing lip with self tapping screws or rivets. Isn't the wing lip a tad narrow to be up to the job of holding up a wheel arch?

my wood an picket are attached to the lip and its seems pretty sturdy actually.
havnt driven it yet so i dunno if it will flap around
