Ok ive got a standard gearbox which im stripping. Now ive heard on here some where that the way to unudo the final drive nut is to lock the gearbox in 2nd and 4th.
Does anyone know how this is done. Ive tried with the reverse idler in and out. ive tried to select 2nd and then push the 4th syncro hub over. Im just not getting it. I know this is probably something simple that im missing but i am having a blonde day today.

Please ignore this post because i got it sorted. Its 1st and 4th.... Blonde moment finnished.
