I'm getting myself an RC40 exhaust kit as I'm sick of the standard setup, the manifold/downpipe connection is so hard to work on!

I just wanted to check, this is the only RC40 back box I can find. It says 'large bore'. I have a 998, is it refering to the shiny muffler tip as being large bore? Will the pipe that connects to the downpipe be standard bore and compatible?

Another quick question, whats the different between to RC40 classic and millenium editions? Classic is so much cheaper!!

Much appreciated!

bump

I know I could wait till tomorrow and contact mini spares but I would like to place my order asap, I'm taking my mini off the road untill its done because its current manifold is leaking at the bottom and I don't want fumes in the cab.

laege bore is reffering to the exit only,2 and a half inches, pipe inside diameter is the same on all rc 40's.
Would use a cooper freeflow manifold with a 998 or even satndard 1275,as an lcb is designed for more highly tuned/bigger bore motors.
I think the millenium range is reffering to the tailpipe designs, the classic will work just aswell, just some people prefer the large bore look and rolled ends.
So for cheapest and most efficient, classic rc40 with cooper freeflow manifold.

Classic range is mild steel whereas Millenium range is Stainless hence the big difference in price.

classic range rc 40 is available in stainless and mild, same as millenium, classic rc 40 is side exit and no fancy tailpipes.
millenium is available in centre exit, twin dtm upswept, twin side exit, large bore 2.5" and standard size 1.75"
the millenium mild steel version does have a stainless baffle though unlike tthe classic which is steel.
