well had a bit of a play today and got started redoing my rear seats, which were pretty awful looking before

i did have a box either side both pointing slightly towards the front of the car, but i hated the look so i thought hey why not.

so today i've put together the skeleton and just waiting on some fabric and all my fibreglassing materials

but heres the skeleton, let me know what you guys think

That's looking like a very nice start, I'm quite excited to be able to start offering fibreglass installs some time early 2011.

Thanks

i was hoping for more curves but cant really be helped, certainly looks better than the lumps of MDF i had in there before,

so here it is today after being wraped in a couple of old t-shirts, lots of layers of CSM to go on so strength shouldnt be a problem.

the deck isn't gonna liked the sound waves being so close to it

will skip if u try to play a cd, but should be ok with a ipod, but would look
alot more cleaner without the deck in the middle like that

radio has a box built around it so should be fine for the pressure waves, and trbh i agree that it would look better if it wasnt there but i may aswell finish it now, can always be made into a port

right well i wasnt happy with the first try so i took the skin off and tried to make it look a bit better, i got my new amp through so i decided to build that into the design, will take some photos of it in the carat the weekend but it does fit perfectly and looks spot on.

Just a suggestion if you want more curves for the install. Why not try making the sub box enclosures first then when your happy with them then make seperate speaker pods from FG. They should really be seperated anyway. Have you been able to work out the volume the sub boxes are going to be?
