I currently have two parcelshelf speakers but where else can they go? I want to try my hardest to keep things 'standard looking' but my main bugbare is that the speakers are too far away. I want something upront or at least closer.
You got any ideas?
Cheers

That wouldnt be too bad mixed in with your parcel shelf ones but if you want a bit more go for some tweeters up front or some speaker pods on the doors/inner arches

You can buy/make a speakerboard for under the rear seats and put different speakers in , preferably 6x9s

I might try either/both of those. But how difficult is it to put speakers into the extremly thin door cards? And where exactly is the inner arches? Would this mean the speakers would sit in the front footwells?

Metro door pockets is another option, have a look on ebay, or if money is no object you could get some audioscope ones (£200!)
There's loads of options if you think out the box a little, think of it as a chance to be creative.

screw them on and inset speakers! Sounds like a great idea, then tweeters high up? Do they work most effectivly high up?

Another option, I've been looking into this for some time and some nissan micra pockets might work (non electric window version), though they'd require modification. I've never seen them fitted, so it could be a first to! You could have a look on ebay, they're always sold as a complete door card, but you could get the door pocket off.

Has anyone ever bought the speaker pods and attatched them onto in the inner archs, Im worrying wether it would be a good idea to screw them in. I wasthinking today its a mini, likely to rust perhaps its not a good idea to screw holes into the body work!!!
