Here's My Latest Mini, His name is Cyril, i got him for a very reasonable £1400 and his test drive lasted 370 miles, not without hicups though as i drove the last 60 miles with the exhaust scrapping the floor

Here's a little info on him...

Bodywork - Restored in 2006-2007 lots of panels repaired and replaced including wings, front panel, rear valance sills etc.
- Fibreglass bonnet and bonnet pins
- Wood and picket style fibreglass wheel arches
- Full respray in almond green in 2007
- Mk 1 austin wavy grill and surround
- Converted to flip front this year using arc angels kit
- New windscreen and seal fitted this year

Wheels and tyres - 12 x 6 Superlight alloy wheels bought new in 2007
- 4 x good falken 165/60/12 tyres lots of tread left

Engine and gearbox - Mg Metro engine and box.
- Engine rebuilt 2007 crank reground, bottom end dynamically balanced, head skimmed, new valve guides, swiftune double valve springs ,all new bearings, new water pump and oil pump and new clutch kit. New bestek fast road/rally distributor fitted along with new rc40 side exit exhaust. Hif44 needle + spring replaced along with main and idle jets.
- Further engine work this year. +20" rebore taking it to 1293, new pistons and rings. new piper BP25 camshaft, new alloy bodied swiftune duplex vernier timing sprockets, new 1.5:1 roller tipped rockers, new LCB and 3 core radiator. Facet solid state electric fuel pump, new clutch master and slave cylinder. also new alloy oil catch tank
- Mg metro gearbox in good condition no whines or crunching fitted with a reconditioned 3.1 differential and new inner cvs fitted for mot
- Only just finished running the engine in.

Brakes - 8.4 solid disks and ebc green stuff pads at thr front with new front brake lines. all 4 brake caliper pistons and seals replaced for mot.
- Standard spacered rear drums

Suspension - Lots of work carried out on front subframe earlier this year. Upper and lower arm bearings replaced and pins replaced where required. new bushes fitted to suspension arms and tie rods and new hilo type trumpets fitted.
- Gmax dampers at the rear
- Spax dampers at the front.

Interior - Mini 30 half leather interior in very good condition
- New carpets
- 120mph smiths 2 clock binnacle
- Leatherette dashboard
- Oil pressure gauge
- Leather and chrome astrali steering wheel
