Hi all, i'm about to start on my new project, an '81 HL. I picked it up a few days ago, as you can see it's been completely stripped and bead blasted, all rust removed. It came with new front panel, 'A' panels, door skins and rear valance. Only the rear valance has been welded in place, so i've got a lot to do but the hard stuff has been done. It also came with a spare very rusty but running 52,000km (32000mile) '82 HL, and also all the parts from a Clubman minus shell and some panels.

My plans are to make it a early replica, including welding in tail light filler panels to convert to early round tails.

Minilites with grp 4 / 5 arches and a few other period goodies.
Colour is not confirmed yet but will be an early colour such as Old English white, Speedwell blue or Oyster Beige with black roof.

Colour is a big decision because once it starts going on that's it lol.

The car will not be a trailer queen but you WILL be able to eat your dinner of any part of it, from the roof to underneath including engine bay.

For a little background on me i've made a thread in the intro' section.

Couple picture's to start.

Oh forgot to mention. The name Bellicose came from an article in either Miniworld or Mini Magazine from the early 90's about a yellow Mini with a K.A.D head, and i've always loved the name because it kinda suits me and my attitude lol.
It means, Warlike or hostile in manner or temperament, inclined or eager to fight, aggressively hostile, belligerent, pugnacious.
