Hi All,

A mate of mine has left his engine in my garage. We're swapping gearboxes over the next couple of days...and after that, he's going to be gone for a week.

His engine is looking a bit grubby at the moment, so I'm thinking of smartening it up for him while he's away, ready for when he comes back to re-fit the unit.

He's been making his mini more and more masculine, so to balance things a little... I think a Candy Pink engine is in order!!

I've been searching, but haven't yet been able to find any pink engine paint..ideally candy pink. Anyone know of suppliers? Ideally paint that doesn't cost the earth.

Thanks,

Ed

Yeah I've seen this ad. I thought it was a bit expensive considering it's only 250ml. I'm guessing that I'll need at least 500ml if I want to get a good couple of coats on there.

Can you not just get some white and red hammarite and mix them together. That would cost alot less.

i had a 250ml tin from halfords and done

2 coats..
block, head, brake drums, brake calipers and radiator

1 coat..
brake servo
(thats when it run out)

it was red by the way not pink

so you will definitely get the engine done if thats all your gonna use it for.
