I am now to this forum and I am new to mini's, so my apologies if this is a common or stupid question. I have done a search on this forum but I cant find what I am looking for. We have just bought a stock standard 1977 Mini, and I have put in a head unit and antenna, but I am stumped as to where to put the speakers. I am guessing that the rear parcel shelf would be a good spot, but because under the vinyl top is metal, how on earth would I cut holes in it?

Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks

PS we just want sound, so no amps or subs or anything, just a bit of radio music.

you can buy speaker boards to go underneath the rear seats, you can place some small ones in the rear cards, or you can buy speak pods up front. i would probably go with the under rear seat option though
