i fitted a mechanical (i think) oil pressure one which has the oil flowing into it. all i did was fitted a tee peice into the block so i could still connect my light up and then got a single length of pipe and ran it through the bulkhead to the guage, didnt have one of those sender units. i also got a vaccum guage and an amps guage. the vaccum one looks cool when driving along as it shows how much fuel and air your using so its constantly moving - but is pretty useless and just a distraction! i drilled and tapped my inlet for this but i heard you can use your brake servo pipe (if you have one) - anywhere where between the carb and the block really. the amps i havent figured out yet so im going to swap to voltmeter as they are MUCH safer and easier to install.

If you're just trying to decide what ones are most useful there's a recent thread about it.
