My friend bought a 1984 Austin Metro yesterday and already has some plans for it!!
It's in great condition but he thinks it should be treated to a nice new pair of shoes.
So he's asked me to find out whether he could get some shiny 13x7s or possible 13x8s on it?(a friend of his has some nice revos.)
I do think I'm managing to persuade him to go for 12s but we need to know how wide we can go.

Thanks for you time.

PS before anyone tells us to keep it original, everything will be reversible!
cheers.

im sure you can put 13/8 on but the arches will need modifying. and they are a different offset than a mini a mate has 12/5 (or 12/6) off a mini on his metro they do look cool but catch the arches.

Don't really want to modify the arches, maybe 13x7s then.
Or 12s

depends how low your running!!!! if you raise it up you will get away with bigger wheels. do you know anyone with 13 inch wheels? just ask to try them on too see if it looks ok and the off set is ok
