is my 83 mayfair 998 positive or negative earth. What is the difference also ?

Your Mini will be negative earth. By 1970 I think all British cars were negative earth.

Yeah it is negative earth , I knew what the difference was but i forgot

-ve earth help with corrosion in theory, not that it makes much difference on minis!
