can anyone (without going out into the cold, hence why im asking) guesstimate teh dimensions of the front windscreen of a mini??

length - 1165mm
width - 415mm
weight - 6.2kg for a clear or 6.16kg for a tinted

Alright, why is a tinted one 40 gram lighter ?

I knew someone would ask that. The weight for a clear screen was done when the first laminated screens came out for the mini. The tinted laminated screens came out a few years later and technology had improved so the laminate they used were thinner yet still retained the same strength. If you weighed a brand new clear screen it would now weigh the same as a tinted one.
Yes I am sad for knowing this but it's what I do for a living.
