Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a metal tray from to strip my engine down in? Don't fancy getting oil all over the garage floor.

LOL.
I've seen people use the lid of dust bins and recycle lids...
Don't think an oil pan is that expensive these days, your local motor masters (small shop) should have one.

I kinda just got oil all over my mums garage striping down a engine with nothing but newspaper on the floor lol

I got a big plastic tray from Lakeland. It is sold to soak oven grilles in to get rid of tough staining!!
It was about £9. The engine will sit in it but it may not be that strong as it is only plastic.
