Hi guys iv e had a dream of putting a subaru impreza turbo engine into a mini round nose any one now if it will fit and what work is required

nothing is impossible. but i would imagine it would take a lot of skill. Typically the people who have the skill would know if it would fit.

In the front? impossible without a massive extension doesn't matter how much skill you have. In the rear mid engined, maybe, possibly, should be able to get some basic dimensions of the internet and have a measure up

after seein that thread u guys put up i think i may give the subaru conversion a miss as it would not look like a mini just look a little silly i think, I dont mind havin extended front nose but want to keep the width to a minimum so unsure now what engine is best to put in any ideas???

Honda Vtec is the most common engine swap, and they just about fit in the front. Vauxhall 2.0 engines are also commonly fitted.

unsure of budget will be an ongoin project the honda way looks good is that the best way to go then
