Hello,

Im looking to buy a set of tyres for my 6x10 wellers, i have narrowed it down to these 2 choices and wondered which ones are better?

ive done a search and i haven't really found much.

depends what you're using it for?

track/weekend warrior then the 32's

daily drive then 008's

a032r are the best, but they only last a few thousand miles as the rubber compound is so soft. if you have plenty of money and dont mind changing them all the time then these.

the A008 is possibly the best road 10" tyre you can get. good long life, good grip and good in the wet and better than most in the snow.

can certainly feel the difference when i swapped from 032's to 008's there just not as grippy, however i do agree if you use it daily go for the 008's

i wold get yokohamas a539 they are the best


they do not make them for 10" wheels

cheers for the reply's guys, yeah it is a daily driver, so i'll go for the 008's as i cant afford to keep changing the tyres!! haha,

any suggestions on best place to get them was thinking huddersfield spares as they're cheap and i've heard good things about them.

Check local tyre people, you may find that what you have to pay extra is less than the amount of postage you have to pay. Otherwise just search around for the cheapest price online!

i have A032r's on my mini and have done so for a few years. Have just replaced two of them for the MOT and they have been on the car for at least 3 years. I do about 5000 miles a year so if your steering and suspension geometry it set correctly then they last well as long as you don't go spinning the wheels or tearing around the streets too much.

A008's are much harder wearing but just don't have the same level of grip :)
