Could someone please photoshop me a mk1 golf gti style front splitter?
Possibly with some W&P arches (in body colour)?
Would like to see what the splitter looks like in black and body colour please!!

If you mean like the splitter I’ve got on the Mayfair, then it’s not a direct fit to a standard front panel.

I was thinking of modifying a mk1 golf one, how did you do yours?

Yep the green one, well once it’s properly painted.

It’s a non-gti front splitter, the gti ones are far too deep imo. To get it to fit was a bit of work, had to replace the lover half of the front valance with a rear one, weld on some brackets and blend it all in to hide the gap/s.

looked at the abs motorsport ones but they're only for use with sportpacks by the looks of it!!
Is your splitter a metal one?
I was hoping to find some way of attaching it with some self tappers!!haha

Nope it’s a plastic one, think all golf ones are.

And I think the picks of mine start from about page 4 onwards in the mayafir project thread.

How did you make it?

i made it from steel, i wanted to make it out of something lighter, but i needed to make it quickly.

That looks pretty much the same as the golf ones, just in steel.

That's great! does it flap about a lot?
Looks pretty easy (for someone who knows how to weld).
Might have to give it a go as a first welding project!!
