Hello, I have acquired a Sanpet tacho. I was told it was previously used on a mini so have attempted to install it earlier to my vehicle.

The engine is a 1275 A+ with standard ignition components.

I have four wires coming out of the tacho, brown for earth, red for live a green which i assume is the feed from the positive side of the coil and a blue for the light.

So far i have connected to a good earth and taken a live feed from the fuse box, however the gauge is not working when the engine is running. Only the light seems to be working.

Have I got the wiring correct and can people confirm this can be used on an a series engine?

There is a switch on the back with two setting options. The picture with the paper in it is what was wrote on the back of the tacho before being repainted. Any clues what this indicates?
