what mods will i most likely not have to declare, or wont increse the insurance by too much...

im thinking classic car insurace, lets say a starting price (standard car) for £700.

these are the mods im thinking of.

new dash and carpets
lower seats, but not bucket (this is so i can actually fit inside the car)
hi-los

and would central locking and alarm bring it down by much or any?

i know with normal insurance they care about every little hting you have done to the car, but what about with classic car insurance?

any help apreciated
thanks
chris

If you do not tell the insurance company about anything that has been changed from how the car left the factory then your insurance will be/could be invalid, I have told my insurance about everything from the engine size, suspension, wheels, arches to even changing the dash and seats.
Doing this doubled my insurance from £110 to £220 for classic cover but I am an old fart at 42 and my car is garaged and has a mileage limit of 4k per year.
