I have a 78 mini I payed $100 for and it is being totally redone. What color should I get it painted? My interior is black so I could paint it any color. It is primered black so any dark color like black, blue, red, whatever. Or should I go crazy and go lime green!!!

If you could please post pictures of your cars would help.

ive had Tahiti Blue and British Racing Green my two favoutite colours for the mini, but then again I only seem to like the more classic clours and the darker ones as well.

so if it was me, no no lime green!

I would go with lime green if it were me or slightly different like the ford focus sport green

I am leaning towards red. Iwant a red with a little sparkle in it not that flat red.

I'm about to have mine sprayed in Honda Black Amethyst Pearl, a gorgeous very dark purple.

I'm of the opinion that a minis look best in basic primary colours. It's probably just an Italian Job influence but I'd only ever have a mini that was either red, white or blue. (Unless it was a 1275 GT, in which case yellow or black would also be acceptable).
