Has anybody else had issues with it recently? It infected my XP partition 4 days ago and it seems its about since 4 people that i know of have all got it in the last week or so.

Just a warning, keep your firewalls and anit-virus's on. This virus is a right PITA.

Ive had it aswell

Did a system restore, loads of virus scans and it still didn't go. Then tried the programme recommended by George in the above post and it seems to have worked fingers crossed.

Anyone know where we have got the virus from?

Download hitmanpro 3.5 its takes like less then 10mins to scan and uses 5 different anti-virus programs to scan (uses cloud computing) its only a 30 day trial but a kick-ass piece of kit and will work like a non-trial version intill the 30 days is up... another extreme last stand solution which you can try before formatting is a program called combofix  Try them 2 things out if non work then a format is best option. (Last time i got a virus it would not go even after 2 scans with like 5 pieces of software lol so i had to use combofix but that messed up a file in my registry leaving me without any sound LUCKILY i had a system restore point which was saved from a week before i got the virus
