Hola Maria!

For anybody interested this years meeting is being held in Banyoles On the 22-24th of April(During easter), It's only a 13 hour drive from london, 40 minutes from the french border, or half an hour from Girona airport(Ryan-Air flies here from plenty of UK airports)
A couple of photos from last years meet were in the March issue of miniworld, alongside comments saying "the rain in spain falls mainly upon the minis"

Hola

I will be working in Spain for a while from the summer and unfortunately will be leaving my beloved mini at home. It is great to hear about Foromini. Would love to come to the meet in October, but as I will be without my car, I would consider renting (I know it is not the same, but what can i do?). I found these guys in madrid who offer mini rental, anyone used them before? But I would really be after a classic one rather than a luxury one if anyone can help?

I have decided to go for the classic indeed, but I am actually now planning to buy one as it is cheaper in the long term and I prefer to have my own transport rather than to rely on public transport - though I have heard that parking in Madrid is not so easy?

Are you going to be based in Madrid? I'd recommend entering our forum and saying hi, even if you do so in english it's not a problem, we've got loads of members who speak english.

To register you need to send an email to [email protected] with the username you would like (the person who approves new members speaks english)
