those of u who have noticed the few posts i make about my mini being almost done....well today it came out of the sprayshop.
metallic BRG with a white roof....gorgeous!
i drove it 2 mins down the road, and the f***ing wheel fell off. ALL FOUR nuts had undone and the wheel fell off!
at the moment the arch and a-panel are a mess, not sure about mechanicals yet!
absolutely gutted....feel quite sick now!just thought i'd let u know! it's the winter mini curse!!
p.s.gotta look on the bright side...no1 hit me from behind, wasn't going too fast and it looks like there isn't too much damage!

worse thing is....it's taken my dad and I 8months to do this mini! 2grand spent to date!!
the thing that makes me sick, is i heard a knockin before when i stopped at some lights, but figured it was something rolling in the boot because the sprayer sed he'd put the extra paint in the boot! i almost....ALMOST pulled over just before!typical

Was it the spray shop guys fault?? Did they not tighten the wheel nuts properly???

nope never touched the front wheels! dad had to apologise to them alot, because he flew off back to the sprayshop in the other car and flew into a proper essex bloke rant!!
what we cant understand is....it has had 2 MOT's in the last 3 weeks!! it failed the 1st due to a lighting problem, so the 2nd time he checked everything again(because it's all on computer so is timed!)....so they cant of been loose!! when checking bearing and ball joins you pull the wheel at 6oclock and 12oclock etc....surely he would've noticed a knocking noice if they were loose!!

think i'm gonna skive work 2nite and go out on the *yellow human water*!! that'll make up for it!
not sure about the car yet, we just jacked it up, put the wheel back on and drove it back to the sprayshop and told em to fix it! by the feel of the car the mechanics are ok!
