I know they wont be to everyones taste but i just mocked up some rear lights. you will have to slightly use your imagination as these are the only lenses i had to hand. Small orange lens will be clear with orange bulb for indicator and big orange one will be red and used as stop and tail. clear will be left clear as a reversing light. will have to work some sort of reflector into them somehow too hopefully fairly subtly! what do you all think so far?

Oh this will be the passenger side unit.

Not sure whether to sink the lenses in or leave them slightly proud. Opinions please!

Also which side do you all think for the indicator? top left or top right? pics of either side attached.

Please excuse the sticky tape! lol!

i used my imagination!!! what do you think??

i think maybe the lenses may be a touch too bold but nevermind, they should prob show through a little less.

E-tizzle do you mean that they are sticking too far out the cluster? They wont be that far out in the final product.

no i meant that when its made you wont be able to see the lights that much through the lense.
i made them a bit to bold, they should have been a bit more see through.

what do you think?
is it what you had in mind?

sorry didnt see the pic because i checked it on my phone. i was going to do them without a lens in front. "French them in" or afterburner style the surround will then be painted. thanks for the photoshop tho! that was one of my first thoughts of how to do them.

If it's not too late...I'm gonna chuck my thoughts in the air and see who catches it... I was thinkin top right so they're sloping inwards like the sides of the car. Bit more symmetrical.

even any thoughts of moving the lenses around. has anyone any better ideas of where to put them?
